Branch Calvin Douglas “DOUG” Howard, 75, beloved husband, father and Papa passed away peacefully Feb 4 at his home, Port Orange, FL. Born in Greenville SC, he served proudly in the USAF and Navy. He was a small business owner of Daytona Racing Souvenirs & Hobbies, now retired, in Daytona Beach. His son Daryn and wife Lisa took over the business upon his retirement. He loved watching Nascar, reading Military and Mini Cooper books, and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Ronnie aka-Rudy Howard, his children, Cindy (Bryan) Morrow, Daryn (Lisa) Howard, Kim Howard, John (Julie) Howard, Sarah Howard, Joshua (Kyria) Howard , stepson Terry (Teresa) Rocks, 12 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren, his brother, Buddy (Shirley) Howard, his sister Martha (Wendell) Drew and his beloved Yorkie-Whycombe. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Howard, mother Willie Mae Stags Howard, and brother Bobby Carol Howard. Memorial service to be held at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Port Orange, FL Sunday Feb. 7, 2016 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a donation to your favorite charity.
