Obituary

Brian Scott Palmer, 41, beloved son of Nancy (Palmer) and Richard Scott passed away at his home in Orlando, FL, Thursday, March 16, 2017.

Brian was born January 31, 1976 in Geneva, Ohio.

He moved to Florida at the age of 5 with his mom to Fort Lauderdale. After graduating from Melbourne High School in 1994, he went to the Washington, DC area to stay with his Aunt Barb for one year, moved to New Smyrna Beach to try the “Surf thing” following his passion for his love of Art, then settling in Orlando calling it home for 20 years.

He leaves behind his loving supportive Mom and Dad, Nancy (Palmer) and Dick Scott, Melbourne.  Also left behind is dear friend Brandon Weltz, Aunt Debbie (Moore), Aunts Barbara (Houbler), Uncle Bruce (Palmer), lots of Cousins.  Brian leaves behind some amazing friends who were his extended family, sharing his life-too many to list but they know who they are.

Brian was gifted in many areas including but not limit to being an accomplished artist, story teller and his greatest gift was making each and every person he came into contact with feel like they were special.  His unique sense of humor kept all around him smiling.  He never met a stranger.

He spent the majority of his career in the restaurant managerial business but tried different jobs even working on a river boat cruise (out of necessity in his words). Brian ended his work career as a Human Resources Benefits Administrator for Aon Hewitt in Orlando.

He was loved by many-will be missed by more.

Till we see you again, son!  Yay for that!

A Celebration of Brian’s Life is being planned for April 8, 2017 at Lake Eola. Details for the event are being updated on Brian’s Facebook page. A link to the event:  https://www.facebook.com/events/1773230239661924/?ti=icl
