Sending my heartfelt condolences to the Braxton, Batson families. Carla and I grew up on the same street in Mattapan. We both attended the Maurice J. Tobin School in Roxbury. Carla and I had a blast as friends. We also worked together at John Hancock Insurance Company in Boston. We went to Bermuda on vacation several times and yes, I will really miss her. The passing of Carla was a complete shock. I pray that her family will remember the Joyous times of their beloved daughter and sister.

Carla, I will always remember your kindness to me at work. You were always so very thoughtful and helpful. I am at a complete loss to know that God has taken you into His loving arms. I will miss you and your willingness to stop everything to help others. You were a blessing as a co-worker and a very special and dear lady. Thank you for being the wonderful person you were. You have touched my life and heart.
