Obituary

Daniel Milton Schnebel, 67, of Weirsdale, FL passed away June 23, 2017 at his home. Born in Amityville, NY, he grew up on the south shore of Long Island and he came to this area in 1987 from Miami, FL. Daniel was a retired Building Manager for the Ocala Star Banner. He enjoyed Catamaran sailing and was a member of the Lake Weir Yacht Club and the Ocala Sailing Club. He was also a musician and enjoyed playing his guitar at local venues. He was a talented home remodeler. Daniel is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Liz; sisters, Carolyn Schnebel of Riverhead, NY, Diane Bluemel (Bill) of E. Moriches, NY and Gail Sizemore (Dean) of London, KY; nieces, Cheryl Nordt, Carol van de Plas (Darby), Heather Clark (Jack), and Chrystal Sizemore; nephews, Fred Nordt (Dawn) and Dean Edward Sizemore. His nieces and nephews fondly remember his smile that would light up a room, and he will be missed by them. His memory will be cherished by his many friends as well as Liz’s large family of siblings and nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held in August. In lieu of flowers, please “Pay it Forward” in a way you choose.  Arrangements by Baldwin Brothers Funerals & Cremations 954 E. Silver Springs Blvd. Ocala, FL 352-236-5884.
