John Richard Krause passed away peacefully in Ormond Beach, FL on August 9th, 2017 after battling a severe head injury for over a month. John was born on June 29th, 1971 in Buffalo, NY to Charlene Krause (Greenlee) and Robert Krause. He then went on to attain a BS degree in graphic design from the State University of New York College at Buffalo and later received an AS degree in Simulation and Robotics Technology from Daytona State College in 2014. John moved to Florida in 2004 and later married Kelly Alois on September 26th, 2008. Over the next six years John and Kelly welcomed two beautiful children, Hailey and Andrew Krause. John was a wonderful father and husband who always put his family first. In the years he spent as a stay-at-home dad he developed a very special bond with both Hailey and Andrew. John was a talented artist. He enjoyed taking care of the yard, growing this and that, the occasional game of golf, and going out for sushi. John is survived by his father Robert Krause; step-mother Linn Krause; wife Kelly Krause; children, Hailey and Andrew Krause; siblings, Robert Krause Jr., Suzette Sharp, and Scott Sharp; sister-in-law Laura Alois and Annie Krause; father and mother-in-Law, Gary and Sue Alois; nieces and nephews, Devin Krause, Samuel Platz and Leto Platz.
