Obituary
Justin Alexander Gary, 24, of Ormond Beach and Gainesville, FL, was taken from us in a tragic DUI/hit and run accident on Saturday, July 29, 2017. He attended Fort Clark Middle School, Gainesville High School, and graduated from Mainland High School.
Justin was an avid music lover. He loved to play his guitar and any other instruments he could find. He played little league baseball for four seasons and was in the ROTC program for two years in high school. Justin was extremely creative and always enjoyed drawing and creating.
What always stood out the most to those who knew him, was his unique and hilarious sense of humor. He had a way of making everyone laugh and no one could be in a bad mood if he was around. He had a kind, gentle, beautiful soul that could light up a room in an instant. Justin was one of a kind!
Justin is survived by many loved ones including his mother, Holly Crocker and her husband, Garrick, Gainesville, FL; his father, Robert Gary and his wife, Marisa, Ormond Beach, FL; siblings Ashley, Hannah, Geoffrey, Emily, Gabriel and TJ; grandparents, Anna Lindemann, Dennis and Helen Gary, Martin and Diane Marinoff, Phyllis Savoie, and Angel Avallone. Justin is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family members. He is preceded in death by four grandfathers, Charles Lindemann, Gerald Crocker, Charles Shirley, and Jim Griffin and one grandmother, Marsha Griffin.
The family invites everyone to celebrate Justin’s life with us on Friday, August 4th at 11:00 am at Tomoka Christian Church. 1450 Hand Avenue, Ormond Beach, FL.
There will be a memorial walk over the Seabreeze Bridge at 7:30pm on August 4th. Attendees are asked to meet at the Daytona Taproom at 7pm.
Rest well, see you the other side.
To the Gary family my heart grieves with you.
My prayers are with you and yours.
