Obituary
Kenneth Paul Windle, 72, of The Villages, FL, passed away on October 21, 2016 surrounded by his loving wife and family. A native of Cumberland, MD, and graduate of Allegany High School (1962) he served his country proudly in the National Guard and the Army Reserve. Ken enjoyed a distinguished career as a cartographer with the U. S. Geological Survey before moving from Northern VA to The Villages where he enjoyed an active retirement playing golf, billiards, and cards with family and friends.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Carol, sons Brian (Amy) of Round Hill, VA and Mike (Carolyn) of Pace, FL, grandchildren Jake, Mikaela, Eli, Abbey and Chloe, sister Kathy (Bob) England of Ridgeley, WV and sister-in-law Joanne of Baltimore, MD. Ken was preceded in death by his brother Ronnie.
Ken was a good and kindhearted man who was always willing to lend a hand to help a friend and neighbor. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
