Obituary
My dearest daughter, Kimberly Anne Biser, age 47, passed away peacefully with all of her immediate family by her side at Florida Hospital South on Wednesday, May 17, 2017.
Kimberly, born August 19, 1969, in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, resided most of her life in Orlando, Florida after the family relocated here in 1982. Kimberly is the daughter of her loving mother, Jacqueline Biser and her father, the late James Biser. Kim is survived by her brother Matthew, resident of Cullowhee, North Carolina, her sisters, Kristin (Todd) Mohney, Kissimmee, Florida and Kelly (Keifer) Firestone, Orlando, Florida. Kim is also survived by her grandmother, Pauline Esworthy of Marysville, Pennsylvania.
Kim was a gentle and caring aunt of her niece, Hannah Firestone, and nephew, Colton Mohney. She will be greatly missed by her loving aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, friends and coworkers. All will miss her outgoing personality, kind heart and beautiful smile.
Kimberly graduated from Colonial High School in 1987 and furthered her education at the University of Central Florida. She became a flight attendant and thoroughly enjoyed meeting people and traveling around the world. She later worked in retail and other customer service related positions, where her personality and work ethic portrayed Kim as an excellent employee. She enjoyed working with cosmetics and always eager to assist family members, relatives and friends when asked to do their makeup for special occasions.
Kim enjoyed talking and laughing. She loved sharing funny stories and jokes with anyone. She had a strong interest in movies and music. She had great times with her niece Hannah, giving her facials, manicures, fixing her long blond hair, playing games and mostly school. With nephew, Colton, she enjoyed singing songs and checking out his latest dance moves, creating special moments for us all to remember. Can’t forget her pet, Kobe, who was by her side continually.
Kimberly was a sweet and loving person. She will be missed beyond measure, but knowing she is at peace brings us comfort.
Kimberly’s funeral mass on June 2, 2017 was a beautiful service. The organist and vocalist were amazing and the homily was perfect. Preparations for the burial service are finalized. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the repose of the soul of Kim at Good Shepherd Church, Trindle Road, Camp Hill, PA at 8:30 a.m., Friday, August 4, 2017. This is not a funeral mass; only for her intention. The burial service will take place at Resurrection Cemetery, 116, South Oak Grove Road, Harrisburg, PA (northeast of Harrisburg off of Route 22) on Friday, August 4, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. Her father, Jim Biser, who passed away many years ago, will also be laid to rest at this time. A Celebration of Life reception will follow the graveside service at the Hampton Inn, 4950 Ritter Road, Mechanicsburg.
There is a block of rooms with a group rate under “Biser Family” at the Hampton Inn ($139/night) and Homewood Suites ($159/night). These properties are directly across from one another.
