Obituary

Leslie S. Maldonado, 55, of South Daytona, Florida passed away on April 1, 2017 at the Halifax Health Medical Center Daytona Beach, Florida. She was born on March 12, 1962 in Canton, Ohio. Leslie worked in Human Resources. She was also an artist, and she enjoyed painting, collecting antiques, reading, music, and playing the piano. Leslie is survived by her son, Russell Becker and his wife Katie of Wichita, Kansas; her mother and step-father, Patricia and Jim Clapp of South Daytona; her sister, Terri McFarren and her husband Kevin of Uniontown, Ohio; her niece, Leigha McFarren of Kent, Ohio; her niece, Lauren McFarren of Akron, Ohio; her great niece, Gracie Schillinger of Akron, OH; and her great-nephew, Patrick Mulqueen of Akron, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her father, Russell James Laubscher and her sister, Christine Laubscher. A Memorial Service Celebrating the life of Leslie will be held on Thursday April 6, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the Coronado Community United Methodist Church, 201 S. Peninsula Ave., New Smyrna Beach, FL 32169.
