It was an honor to know this man. I was in his last recruit class in Daytona. He was the symbol of a great Firefighter. I always used Dick as a judge of any Fire Officer, very few met his standard. Rest In Peace, Captain.

I'M NEW TO THIS FACEBOOK PROCESS. MY DAD WAS THE SAME WAY( MODERN STUFF). WHEN WE WERE TOGETHER IT WENT OLD SCHOOL WE READ A REAL NEWSPAPER. LOOK THROUGH REAL PAPER ADS OR CATALOGS. I LOVED MY DAD FOR WHO HE WAS. HIS HUMOR WAS A LITTLE OUT THERE WHICH WAS SO STINKIN FUNNY. WE WOULD TALK ABOUT THE WORLD AS IT IS NOW AND HE WOULD SAY "ROBIN YOU ARE JUST OLD" HE WAS RIGHT. I WOULD GO OVER,BUT FOR ME IT WASN'T ENOUGH, BUT HE WOULD SAY "THAT'S OK AND FOR ME NOT TO WORRY OR CRY" THAT MADE ME LAUGH BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT I DO. I LOVE YOU DADDY AND WILL MISS YOU SO MUCH. YOU WILL ALWAYS BE IN MY HEART. LOVE ROBIN

What a wonderful life you had. I was blessed to be your daughter. I love you more than I can say and miss you terribly. I am so happy I got to spend the last 22 months with you. I have no regrets and I'd do it all over in a second.

Please tell momma I love and miss her too. Until we meet again.
