Obituary
Bob passed away peacefully at home in New Smyrna Beach on July 8, 2017. Born in Moline, Illinois on August 4, 1940, Bob was raised in Iowa and Virginia. He graduated from Duke University with a BSEE degree and was a member of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. Bob served as an officer in the US Navy as a navigator. For 40 years he was a design and sales engineer of commercial lighting in Florida.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents Cyril and Ann VandeWater and his beloved son Tyler. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 44 years Ginger, daughter Kristin (David) Taylor, brothers Dr James (Beverly) and William (Nina) and many nieces and nephews.

Fun Visit with Bob & Ginger March 2017. We enjoyed many great vacations in New Smyrna and are thankful for the great friendship. Bob will be missed but never forgotten.
