Obituary
Ruby D. Tinker, 86, passed unexpectedly early in the morning of Friday, October 21st, 2016. Ruby was born on September 20th, 1930 to her parents Lenice and Ira DeBusk of what is now Dasmascus, VA.. She had two brothers, Harold and Charles DeBusk, and two sisters, Opal Bryan and Ethel Campbell and all had pre-deceased her. Ruby enjoyed her childhood immensely and following a bit of time after graduating High School she attended and graduated nurses training with a Bachelor’s degree from Nashville General Hospital School of Nursing in Sept.,1954. Ruby spent most of her life doing what she loved most, helping others in her career as a Registered Nurse, most of which was with oncology patients at Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach, FL.. She was an avid Atlanta Braves baseball fan and enjoyed playing bingo and most of all spending time with her family and friends. Ruby was a loving and caring mother, grand mother, great-grandmother, and friend! Ruby was also pre-deceased by her loving husband Reece Tinker and survived by her daughter Cindy L. Tinker, Ormond Beach, FL, grandson Joey Gulledge, Ormond Beach, FL, grand daughter Lisa Gulledge, Daytona Beach, FL, and great grandson Derrick Gulledge, Daytona Beach, FL. At her request in lieu of a memorial service there will be a celebration of life to be held at the Wellington Station Condominium clubhouse located at 1001 Hand Ave.Ormond Bch, FL 32174 at 3pm Saturday, Oct. 29th.
