Obituary
William H. (Slusarczyk) Smith 89 years old died peacefully at home April 2, 2017. A Memorial Mass to be held April 18th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church New Smyrna Beach at 11 am.
William was born in Rocky Hill CT. A WW2 decorated Veteran. He worked many years at Colt Firearms. Now joining his wife Concetta in everlasting life after their 64 years together. He leaves to cherish his memory his three children, Phillip Smith and wife Joyce, Donna Charette, Crystal Luck and husband Jon, along with his Grandchildren- Wendy, Jason, Brandon, Cheryl, Tammy, Karen, Sean, and 12 great grand children and a sister in law Carol Salvatore. Join us in celebration of his life. His quote in his high school yearbook was “The world will leave me as it found me— good”. He was the father of fathers. It doesn’t get any better than a man like that.
After retiring to Florida he was known as the “Flag Man” a regular fixture at Oak Hill Flea market. In lieu of flowers donations to the go fund me to help with final expenses would be appreciated.
