Obituary
John Rhey Wilder of Port Richey, FL passed away on July 7, 2023. John was born on October 25, 1967 in New York to John and Patricia Wilder and grew up in Hollywood, FL. moving to Port Richey in 1999.
He worked in the construction industry for many years, the last 22 years at Cladding Systems. He had an incredible work ethic and the ability to fix anything or remodel it.
John enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing. When he wasn’t fishing he was running, biking or going to garage sales with his wife, Kim.
Even after being a heart transplant recipient in 2022, John ran in 3 races. He was rarely still, always doing something.
John was a loving husband, father and stepfather, devoted to his family as they were to him. John is survived by his loving wife Kim, daughters Christi Hunter and April Wilder, step children Brendan Rahill and Leah Rahill, siblings Janet Wilder, Debbie Wilder and Patsy Wilder. John was predeceased by his parents John and Patricia Wilder.
A celebration of life was held at Gill Dawgs in Port Richey
John’s ashes to be laid to rest in an Eternal Reef off Sarasota, FL
