Obituary
Nancy L. Meckley, 78, of North Fort Myers, FL passed away on Tuesday September 19, 2019.
Nancy went home to be with her Lord and Savior September 24, 2019.
Born November 10,1940 in Hanover, PA. She married her childhood sweetheart Earl Meckley in 1956 and celebrated 63 years of marriage August 18 of this year. They enjoyed spending time together taking long rides on their motorcycle, reading their Bibles and prayer time.
She had her only child Randy whom she loved to spend time with playing games, swimming, and went racing at the NASCAR 500.Nancy drove a tractor trailer with Earl coast to coast for 9 years, then opened her business Now & Then Antiques for 8 years.
She loved spending time with her family and friends teaching them how to swim, playing games, and cards, at her home in Hanover and here in Florida.
Nancy moved with her husband Earl to North Fort Myers in 2004, where she enjoyed spending time in her Florida room and swinging on her swing under the big oak tree in her front yard.
She was an amazing cook and enjoyed having family and friends close by to enjoy her meals.
Nancy loved her church Winkler Road Baptist. She enjoyed attending sermons by Pastor Strange, and spending time together with her church family and was loved by all.
Nancy is preceased by her siblings: Pauline Bankert, Betty Schelleman, and Doris Horn. Surviving is her husband Earl, her son Randy and his wife Joyce, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Nancy had a tender heart, she opened her door to anyone, and was extremely generous with anything she had. She was loved by all and will be missed deeply by her family and friends.
