To the family of my Uncle Rolly. I am the daughter of Rich Buchalski - Roland's Uncle. I am so sorry for your loss. I imagine he was a fighter until the end. Roland was my Godfather and although our adult lives took us on different paths he fulfilled his duty to watch over me in my younger years. Yes I do recall he was a smart man - he knew a little about everything. He and his sister, Aunt Lenny, were my role models. After I graduated from his Alma mater - Lewis University - he suggested I look into a career of either banking, trusts and/or investments - possibly at Northern Trust. I followed his lead and am happy to report I am starting my 24th year at NT. Rest in peace Uncle Rolly - glad you are in peace celebrating with Aunt Bernie, Uncle Wally, Aunt Lenny, Grandma Florence and Grandpa Frank Buchalski. Please remember to have an Old Milwaukee with my Dad and tell him we miss him!

    Karen,
We have wonderful memories of time spent with you both! Lake Beresford, the Keys and most recently New Smyrna Beach and Port Orange. I will never go into Publix without looking for my hug, he gave the best hugs.
Keep yourself happy by remembering all the good times.
    We love you.

I first met Rollie back in 1988 when I started working for Merrill Lynch. He was my futures and options broker. We had many laughs along with Karen, Jim Graeber, and Dick Sandberg. Roland was a great guy and he will be sorely missed.

Karen - take care of yourself and stay sfe.
