Obituary

Ronald Martin Wolf, 84, of Fort Myers, FL passed away on Friday, August 13, 2021.

Beloved husband of Patricia,  loving father of Scott, Todd and Kevin, and loving brother of Dave and Reese.

My Dearest Beloved Ron,

You gave me the most wonderful years of my life, my love.  Our marriage of 23 years has passed much too quickly.  The joy, the laughter and beauty of your most generous heart is imprinted on my soul forever.

Forever missing you, every minute, every day, I pray you can guide me and somehow make me live the life you would want for me now.

The best of my life is with you always and forever – until we can be together, I love you forever.

    Dear Pat,
Our deepest condolences on Ron’s premature passing. We only knew Ron for a few years, courtesy of our dogs Archie, Brutus and Bellina. We enjoyed Ron’s dry sense of humor, his optimism and sunny outlook on life. Even when he was ill, he always had a smile and a funny story. We will miss him very much and our condolences to you and your family, Pat.

Our deepest condolences to you and your family in the loss of Ron. We were honored, if only for a few short years, to get to know this kind hearted soul. We have some special memories of times spent with Candlelighters of Southwest Florida events for children with cancer. Ron's skills were tested in photography and video productions with Pat right beside him. The compassion you both showed the children and their families was touching. Thank you for sharing Ron and reminding us, even in the darkest of times, we can still do things to help others. Ron's sense of humor, expressive political views, his love and devotion to you Pat, the "love of his life" has left an indelible mark in our lives. It was only a month before his passing, the four of us went out to dinner, that day will be cherished.
Rest in Peace, Ron, you fought a good battle and will be missed.

Just viewed the message of Ron's passing and of course very sorry to hear of his death. Ron and I go back a long way to Abercrombie. I was still trying to break into comedy and as you know we continued to keep in touch over the years. Would you please convey my thought however Ron is being remembered. May he Rest in Peace. Dear Pat,
Words cannot express how sadden we are for your loss. RON WOLF, what a unique man. Personable, Friendly, Kind, Witty, Encouraging, Engaging, I could go on and on. George and I are so fortunate to have come to know him these past ten years and to have considered both of you more than neighbors, but friends. Ron's interest were far and wide. His curious mind always going a zillion miles an hour. Listening and learning new things, and exploring new ideas. A good debate was his idea of a great afternoon, and he often challenged me to think a little harder on a topic. When faced with his illness he approached it head on, learning as much as he could. He was definitely a WARRIOR.... but you were the Princess who enabled him to be that Warrior.
Your family unit of the two of you plus Brutus and Belina were a shining example of love. All four of you devoted to each other gave the rest of us something to emulate. We will miss him so much.... who will I turn to when I want a good political debate, or a great joke? He always had me laughing. Your love will live on, and hopefully the memories will bring a smile to you and warm your heart in your sadness. We were truly blessed to know such a great man..... Our prayers and love to you. We love you!
    Annette and George

You were made for each other and we hope that you can cherish those good times forever, knowing he is always with you and still watching over you. Love always -

I reconnected with Cousin Ron a few years ago through his brother Dave but only via email and letters. Although we never met as adults, I always had the feeling that he was a positive, caring man who I am sure will be missed by those who knew him. My deepest sympathy extends to all of you.

    Dearest Patty (my sweetest Poochie),
Your words hit hard, as your loss is so grand. 23 years is not nearly long enough. You found your soulmate, and such a precious soul he will always be... still with you from above, but how I know your heart aches and misses him here in the flesh. This life is but a blink in God's time; you will reunite and be together eternally. Love does not end when our bodies do, of this I have strong faith. Your marriage inspired me, Ron will forever be a one-in-bazillion gem. A larger than life character I grew so fond of across the miles. So witty, charming, and loving... just like you. May your countless memories comfort you, and may you continue to receive his spirit presence in the music, gardenias, and sweet messages meant for only his beloved you. Praying our dear merciful Lord gives you peace and joy in your heart knowing Ron is home with Him.
    So much love,
    Laura and family xoxo
