I only recently met Mark as my new neighbor. In the brief time I knew him I can honestly say he was kind, considerate, a loving father and a genuine human being. I will miss his cheerful, "Hi neighbor" "How was your day?" and "Good Morning!". He was one of a kind and I could see it in the short time I had the privilege of knowing him. I will pray for him and his family. May his soul rest in peace with love always - Donna H xo

I met Mark almost 20 years ago. We've worked together, shared an abundance of nights out and about in South Tampa and Hard Rock and kept in touch periodically over the years. Mark was always calm and gentle natured, always professional and always well dressed. He was definitely one of the tallest friends I knew, and always full of life and passion for whatever he dived into. You will be missed Mark. Rest in Peace. Until we meet again in a better place.

Mark was such a kind, genuine, and funny person. I loved his smile and he gave the best hugs. You are so missed, Mark.

I met Mark at a restaurant in Tampa several years ago during lunch. He had what looked like a good sandwich and I asked what it was. “It’s a club sandwich, but I get it with just ham, and it’s petty good”. I said I’d get one as well and asked his name. “Mark”, he replied. I said great, let’s call that the Mark sandwich. “Good news, that guy right there is named Mark too”. We were all the same age, all loved sports (especially golf), movies, and most importantly we were all above six feet tall (which is a scientific fact we we all ended our first name with a “k”). We rolled together many times to many places, and it was often uttered “here come the three Mark’s”. I will miss my friend, and I pray for the family that he left behind. God Bless.

    Sincerely,
    Mark and Marianne Hoeller

We first met Mark in 2000 in Real Estate in Lexington. Mark never met a stranger and we immediately became close friends with him. Regardless of his 6'8" frame, Mark had an even bigger, loving personality that drew people to him. From his debonair silk clothes, to his slick rides and charming ways, Mark was just fun. The other side of Mark that some did not see is the loving, caring teddy-bear. When walking our son hand-in-hand safely back from pool-side, Mark looked over and saw that Jacob's nose was running. Mark reached over, cleared Jake's little nose with his hand, wiped it on his nice dress shorts without batting an eye. When Mark reached Deb and I, I said "that was a total Dad move - you've got it in your blood buddy." Sure enough, we saw him in numerous posts with his two kids and were not at all surprised at the Father he had become.

There are very few people that I have met in my life that had bigger than life personalities, and Mark was one of those people. We will miss him greatly and we pray for peace and healing for his wonderful parents and children. Mark was as close as a son could be with his parents and our hearts go out to them. This is a horrible loss and Mark will be missed by many who loved him. Heaven just gained an incredible soul.

    Rest in Peace our Friend.
