Obituary

Michael Stewart Mackenzie, 77, of Titusville, FL, passed away July 30, 2022. Born in Brockton, MA, he was the loving son of the late Stewart H. and Rose Murphy Mackenzie.

Michael had a great love for sailing the sea, for history and science, and was a seeker of knowledge and experience. An artist is his own right, he was a man of many talents. Michael could operate a Ham Radio and was the kind of handyman that could fix anything. As well as play several instruments. He loved his family and friends with his whole heart. He cherished good food and conversation filled with laughter. He will be missed by so many.

Michael leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife Marion; children Michelle Mackenzie, Dianne Duphilly, Denise Mackenzie, Charles White and Crystal; sisters Jean Cassens, Rosemary Sweeny and brother Daniel Mackenzie; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and many dear friends.

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal. Love leaves a memory no one can steal.

A celebration of Michael’s life will be announced at a later date.

It saddens me to know Michael is gone but certainly not forgotten. Michael was my choice of a brother because he was a man of honor. He loved his family deeply and took me under his wing. He made sure I did not forget anything when I left his house. I always left something behind. RIp my brother you will remain in my prayers always.
