Obituary
Dennis Doil Reberry, 71, of Edgewater, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on February 8, 2023,
with his wife, Debra Reberry, by his side. Dennis, fondly known as Denny, was born May 16, 1951, in
Rock Island, Illinois to Charles Reberry and Arlene Reberry. The family moved to Kansas City, Missouri where he spent most of his childhood. Denny was a Third-Degree Black Belt in Karate and an all-around exceptional athlete growing up and loved winning…at everything. He joined the Navy as an enlisted sailor at 18 where he quickly climbed the ranks and eventually retired after 23 plus years as a Lieutenant Commander. He held other important jobs before truly retiring so he could enjoy the things he loved most in life. Among those were fishing (especially with his beloved dog Kiki), boating, country music, cold beer, shooting pool, studying history, and watching football – Go Chiefs! Above all, he delighted in spending time with his family.
Aside from being survived by his wife, he also leaves behind his daughters, Shelly Reberry and Sheila Falisi; two brothers, Floyd (Pete) Reberry and George Reberry; two sisters, Jackie Casteel and Janet Reberry; and his adored grandchildren, Alena Santiago, Lexy Santiago, Kyla Falisi and Kaden Falisi, who often giggled repeatedly at their Papaws monkey imitations during their visits.
Unfortunately, there isn’t enough space to share the hundreds of impactful stories that made knowing
Denny so incredible. He was the type of man that made us all so proud to call him our friend, brother,
father, grandfather, and husband. Until we meet again, you will live on forever in our hearts.
Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 6th at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims,
Florida.
