Obituary
Linda Marie Svirskas, 78, of Venice, passed away peacefully at Sunset Lake Health & Rehab Center surrounded by her family. Linda was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut on November 18 of 1944 to the late Andrew Pevornick and Mary Salza.
Linda is survived by her husband of 58 years, Richard Svirskas; son, Robert Svirskas and wife Susana of Virginia; daughter, Tina Fabianski and husband Paul of Florida; grandchildren, Nicolo Aimino, Robert Svirskas, and Andrew Svirskas, and friends and family.
Linda and Richard loved to travel. They moved from Bridgeport to Port Charlotte, Florida in 1972 to move away from the cold weather. Later in 1988, they relocated to Venice. They enjoyed cruising, and had the opportunity to visit several countries. Traveling within the US, they visited as far West as Arizona, and visited many places along the Eastern Seaboard from Key West up to New England. When not traveling, Linda was an avid (some would say voracious) reader. Any subject, countless books, from the time she learned to read throughout her whole life.
Linda held many roles that were the most important and rewarding for her – she was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was known as a strong and independent woman, fiercely protective of those she loved. Paired with this was a wicked sense of humor (with sarcasm sprinkled in as needed), and a great love of pranks, jokes, and the ability to keep family and friends laughing.
Her kind heart, and boundless love and caring will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
Baldwin Brothers is honored to serve the Svirskas family.
So sorry to hear about Aunt Linda's passing.
She was a loving person and hope she is having lots of fun catching up with family in heaven,
