Dearest Adele! How we will miss you! I so enjoyed getting to know you and hear about all your "exploits" - in your 35 different addresses!
You've lived so close to Ebbets Field that you could hear the Dodgers scoring from your high school. You've lived in Holland and Kuwait and Beirut and, while there, performed with a group from the American Embassy. But none of that compares to the "Sweet inspiration" you have been to all of us in your P.E.O. chapter. We owe you such a debt of gratitude! You have truly modeled "Grace" to us all. You have blessed my life, Adele! I will miss you!

Adele was the most courageous person I’ve ever met. Despite all of her challenges she never failed to take the time to look her best. She sent me a card every year on my birthday. If anyone deserves Heaven, it’s Adele.

Adele was a wonderful friend. I met her at the library soon after my husband and I moved to NSB. She helped us meet new friends and get involved in activities here. Miss her so!!!

I love the picture Adele's family selected! She had a twinkle in her eye most of the time; this picture captures that. Her ready smile showed her sincere connection to us across a room and even on Zoom. She was as fiercely independent as each situation allowed and truly was an inspiration to us all. If only she could have told more stories of her travels and experiences. What she did share was interesting and gave us a glimpse of her life well lived. ... I will miss her cards, texts and other posts. My sincere condolences to her family that she so dearly loved. With love in P.E.O., Karen Miller
