When I think of grandma, I will always go back to gandules and crocheting. As far back as I can remember, we have always had conversations that circled both. She taught me both, she passed the skill down to the next generation. My grandma. The fierce woman that she was from stories of the past. I knew the tender heart that cared for her blood. But most of all, I will remember our gandules and crocheting. I love you, and will miss you grandma!

    Tita,
Thank you for everything that you did for Naly and I over the past ten years. You were there for our wedding and every major milestone in our lives together. I am so thankful that you were able to hold each of our children and be a part of their childhood. The time you spent with them is something they will never forget. Thank you for your support and I can't forget to mention the food! You always fed me so much and nobody can make yucca like you because they never put the onions and peppers in the right way. Also, I enjoyed every trip we took to the casino! The next time I'm at the slot machines I'll wager a $20 max bet for you!
