Agnes Rose Doneburgh, 93, New Smyrna Beach FL passed away peacefully August 27, 2014. She was born January 21, 1921 in Plainfield NJ to Josie and Archer Olmstead. She was graduated from Broadalbin High School in 1939. Her family remembered her wonderful sense of humor and extraordinary talent as a seamstress who could knit and crochet anything. She collected and created many dolls sharing the handcrafted gifts with her family. She was a lifetime member of VW Post 4250 and enjoyed dancing and all types of music.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 54 years William, children James and Barbara Rockwell, Jo and Jerry Tenney, David Rockwell, Alan Doneburgh, nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her siblings Mary Christopher, Emily Oathout-Christopher and Hazel Olmstead.
In lieu of other remembrances the family asks that you donate to the charity of your choice or perform a random act of kindness in her memory.
Life Celebration will be 11:00 AM Friday, September 5 at Baldwin Brothers Heritage Place 1 North Causeway New Smyrna Beach FL.
When my mother was ill they came to visit her and I had a couple of really great talks with the both of them. I wished we were able to spend more time getting know each other. They will be miss.
