Obituary
Aida Teresa (Fuentes) Bell, 92, of The Villages, Florida passed away on April 22, 2021.
She was born on July 20, 1928, in Negros, Philippines, as the second oldest of eight children to
Ramona (Achurra) and Jose Fortunato Fuentes. As a stewardess for Philippine Airlines, she met
her husband, Bob, became a US citizen and joined him in many years abroad in the US Foreign
Service. Afterwards, they lived in California for many years, then retired to The Villages and
often traveled in their RV to visit friends and family across the United States. Aida was a devout
Catholic with strong faith and loved dancing with Bob to any live big band music they could find.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Robert D. Bell, of the Villages, Florida, her daughter
Katherine and grandson Edward. She is also survived by her sisters Lourdes (Lulu) and Yvonne,
as well as many loving nephews, nieces, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents,
her sister Vita, and brothers Tony, Monette, Bob, and Ben.
She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Family services will be private.

I remember you with such great fondness. You were always so friendly and welcoming. Your bond with your husband was an inspiration to all. You were a delight to know and I consider it a great honor to have visited with you for so many years. Rest in peace dear Aida. I will remember your smile and your laughter always. May your family be comforted by wonderful memories.
