Albert Domenic Barbieri, 84, New Smyrna Beach died Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at Hospice Care Center Port Orange.
He was born in Belforte, Italy and came to the Washington, DC area as a young boy. He moved to New Smyrna Beach in 1976. Albert served our nation in the United States Army. He worked as a brick mason his entire life. He was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church New Smyrna Beach. His hobby was woodworking, and was an avid Washington Redskins fan.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 59 years Anna, son Daniel and daughter-in-law, Kathy Barbieri of Olney, MD, daughter Dianne and son-in-law, Bruce Waldron of New Smyrna Beach, brother, Primo Barbieri, sisters Louise Barbagallo, Rina Veneziani all of Maryland, and five grandchildren, Gena, Alicia, Lauren, Chris and Kelly.
