Obituary
Albert Freeman Boswell, 82, of Summerfield, FL, passed away January 31, 2018, at his home surrounded by family.
Born April 30, 1935, in Portsmouth, OH, son of the late Cecil Quentin Boswell and Myrtle (Gibson) Boswell. Albert was a US Navy Veteran. In August 1959, he married Laura Fay (Brown) Boswell. He came to Central Florida in 1977, where he owned and operated Central Overhead Garage Doors, Inc. In 2005, he moved to Auburn, GA, and returned in 2015 to Summerfield, FL. Albert was a member of the Dacula Church of God. Albert will always be remembered for his dedication to his work and his faith in God, as well as his love of music.
Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Laura Fay (Brown) Boswell; his children, Janice Hunter and husband Kelly of Summerfield, FL, Mitchell DeWayne Boswell of Ocala, FL, and Albert F. Boswell, Jr and wife Tammi of Dacula, GA; sister, Janet Swearingen and husband Wilbur of Weirsdale, FL; grandchildren, Cheryl Barber, Jenifer Burghart, Lauren Rey, Amanda Boswell, Elizabeth Bishop, Rebekah Rosario, Mitchell Dale Boswell, Jacquelyn Boswell, Megan Ingalls and Tristan Boswell; great grandchildren, Caleb, Dustin, Kyleigh, Jasper, Garrett and Trevor; plus many nieces and nephews.
Albert was preceded in death by his brothers, Dorris W. Boswell and Clyde Dale Boswell; and his great granddaughter, Paisley Rey.
A memorial service will be held at Church @ The Springs (5424 SE 58th Ave. Ocala, FL 34480) on Saturday (Feb. 24th) at 11AM. He will be interred at a later date at Pine Level Cemetery, Oxford, FL. Arrangements by Baldwin Brothers Funerals & Cremations 11250 SW 93rd Ct. Rd. Ocala, FL 352-236-7813.
