Obituary
Albert Paul Kayser sailed off to meet his maker on Tuesday, March 24, 2020, after a fruitful 92 years of life on earth. Born on May 9, 1927 in Parkston, SD, the son of Rev. Hermann and Freada Kayser and longtime resident of Fraser, MI. Al was a loving and faithful husband, father, navy seaman, engineer, sportsman, author and a most intelligent, thinking man.
During his free time, Albert liked to go hunting, boating, and fishing. He also enjoyed training bird-hunting dogs. He authored many books about the family’s history, was a profound debater, and a critical thinker. During his working years, Albert was a mechanical engineer, owned his own design company, and was president of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME).
Albert leaves behind his daughters, Janice Bolitho of Ft. Myers, FL, Robinette Apelgren of Ft. Myers, FL, Judith Hatch of Lexington, KY, Gail O’Neil of Wirtz, VA, his son, Albert Kayser Jr. of London, KY, 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
