Obituary
Albert “AJ” W. Newton Jr, 30, passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 unexpectedly in Oviedo, Florida. He was born and raised in Syracuse, New York where he was an avid Boy Scout and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout at the age of 16. He graduated from CNS high school in 2007. He served as a Specialist in the United States Army stationed at Fort Hood, Texas in the 1st Calvary Division from 2010 to 2013. In 2011 he was deployed in Iraq where he was part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He had a passion for customizing automobiles and small engine repair. He was a genuine, giving, and selfless person. He was also a loving son and brother, as well as a devoted husband and father. He is predeceased by his father Albert Newton. He is survived by his mother Donna Newton, wife Maggie and his four children Ava, Arianna, Bella, and Damon “DJ”. His sister Teresa (Shamel) Smiley, his brother Joey (Taylor) Newton, his half-brother Thomas (Jen) Newton, and half-sisters Chauncine (Tony) Kennedy, and Casey Newton. His nieces Aaliyah Smiley, Allison Newton, and Courtney Kennedy, and nephews Landen Green, Cohen “CJ” Newton, Tommy Newton, and Zach Kennedy. Many aunts, uncles, and cousins. His best friends Jed and Lea Clarke. Services will be held Monday, October 15th at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims, Florida.
