Alberta Lucille Smola, 87 of New Smyrna Beach passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2011.  She was born on October 24, 1923 in Painesville, Ohio to Frank and Georgia Cobb.  She loved spending her time making handcrafts.  Alberta loved to decorate especially during the Christmas Holidays.  She was a member of Friends Wood Carving of Port Orange.  She also sponsored many bowling teams and loved cats.  She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Edward R Smola; grandson, Todd (Hiedi) of Lexington, SC; three great grandsons, Anthony, Michael, and Jeffery.  She will be dearly missed by her loving family.
