Obituary

Alexander Diaz, 33 years of age, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2019.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our wonderful son Alexander Diaz at the age of 33. Alexander was born on November 23, 1985 on Brooklyn NY to Luis A Diaz and Zoraida Mercado.

Alex dedicated his life to his family always doing family outing and gathering. Alex proudest moment was becoming a father to Xavier Alexander Diaz on May 6, 2015.

Survivor include us his parent Luis A Diaz and Zoraida Mercado and his oldest brother Luis Diaz; Noraliz de Jesus his fiancé; step-daugthers Janelis Rivera, Jaylinn Baez and his son Xavier Alexander Diaz, his nephew Abel Alexander Diaz and his niece Diashira E. Diaz.

Services for Alex will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of his Funeral Service at 12 NOON on Thursday, November 21, 2019 in the Baldwin Brothers Heritage Place Chapel, 954 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Suite 200, Ocala, Florida.  Interment will Immediately Follow in Highland Memorial Park, Ocala, Fl.

Es con un corazón afligido que anunciamos la partida inesperada de nuestro hijo Alexander Diaz a la edad de 33 años.  Alexander nació en Noviembre 23, 1985 en Brooklyn NY padres Luis A Diaz y Zoraida Mercado.

Alex dedico su vida a su familia siempre planeando salidas y reuniones familiares. El orgullo más grande de Alex fue convertirse en padres de Xavier Alexander Diaz en Mayo 6, 2015.

Sus sobrevivientes incluye nosotros sus padres Luis A Diaz y Zoraida Mercado y su hermano mayor Luis Diaz; Noraliz de Jesus su comprometida sus hijastra Janelis Rivera, Jaylinn Baez y su hijo Xavier Alexander Diaz, su sobrino Abel Alexander Diaz y su sobrina Diashira E. Diaz.

    I spent 7 years working with Alex in a very tough job and despite that, the days I worked with him were something I always looked forward to. Whenever I was having a tough time he would be there for me. Alex was one of the most wonderful people I had the privilege to know and I will never forget him. I'm so sorry for your loss. Heaven is lucky to have such a wonderful soul.
