Obituary

William ” Bill” Vallancourt passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Sunday evening September 8th 2019 at the age of 85 years old.  He was born on June 26th 1934 in Waterbury Connecticut, and lived in nearby Wolcott Connecticut. He started his own Construction and Trucking business at 19 years old, and also had various other businesses such as an Independent Auto Dealership.  

 

He remained in Connecticut until 1971, when he came to Orlando FL to prospect the area to move from Connecticut, and subsequently moved his family to the Orlando area the following year. He started a new business, Equipment Wholesalers Inc. selling and leasing Heavy Construction Equipment which he operated with his sons until he retired in 1998. 

He was respected by his business peers for his knowledge and work ethic. 

He was a member of Gods family , having been baptized in the Jordan River in Jerusalem a number of years ago, until his recent passing. 

 

He is survived by his Wife Gail Vallancourt, Debbie Vallancourt, son’s Gary Vallancourt (wife Brenda), Todd Vallancourt (wife Ellen), Grandchildren-Tony(wife Stephanie), Skylar Vallancourt, Kendall Kiersnowski (husband Stanley),  Michael Vallancourt, Garrett Vallancourt, his brother John Vallancourt and his brother Edward Vallancourt, and great Grandchildren Cameron, Benjamin and Abigail Vallancourt. 

 

He was preceded in death by his oldest son Mark William Vallancourt.

 

A private service will be held for family members.

    This crushes me to learn of his passing. He was one in a million and brightened my life. Prayers to all of his family and friends. Bill Vallancourt was my idol.
