Obituary
Alice S. Edwards passed away on May 8th, 2022, in Titusville, Florida, at the age of 79. She was born on June 6th, 1942, in Portsmouth, Virginia.
Alice was a church organist for over 50 years touching many lives with her beautiful music. She played accompaniment for the high school choir for many years and for high school musicians and vocalists for solo and ensemble competitions. She enjoyed watching animals, gardening, and playing the piano and organ. She was also a Sunday school teacher for young children, and she also started a sewing group through her church many years ago for a local children’s home.
She is survived by her two daughters, Lyn Edwards Cline, and Christi Edwards Kinch (husband Bobby) and stepson Jay Edwards Jr (wife Diane), grandchildren, Gabriel (wife Jessica), Zachary (wife Cindy), Ballard (wife Courtney), Noah, and Myranda, her sister Ersell Nixon, brother Tommy Sharpe (wife Peggy), 2 great grandchildren with another one on the way and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 38 years, Jay Edwards, and granddaughter Hannah.
Alice leaves behind a legacy of her deep devotion to her Lord and Savior, her love for her family, and love of music.
Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, June 4th at 2:00, at Park Avenue Baptist Church located at 2600 S Park Ave in Titusville with a reception following at the House of Ashkelon located at 1651 S Park Ave in Titusville.

I love my memories of growing up, Nina and I, were able to enjoy your company, cooking and music, as family with You, Grandpa Jay, Aunt Lyn and Aunt Christi, over the years whilst visiting with our dad, Jay Jr.
I'm grateful of the lovely honor and privilege for EthanJay and I to spend time and visit with You, this Mother's Day!
