Obituary

We have lost our beloved brother, uncle, great uncle and dear friend very unexpectedly.  He was loved dearly by many.  He had a good and fulfilling life.  He was respected by all those who worked with him and dedicated to doing his work the best he could with integrity.  His relationships with Ava and Brooklyn were a center of his life.  He discovered what it is to love and nourish children.  Buba will be missed by many. Our hearts are broken. A memorial party to celebrate Allen will be held on Friday October 27 at 5:30PM, at 158 Ward Dr, Winter Park.

    Bubba was a real gentleman and we have known him since 1985 when I lived under his apartment on Lake Osceola. We have many great memories of him and he always had a kind word for everyone. We also shared a great love for The Beatles and fortunately he finally came to Dexter's in 2017 to hear us play (The RedCoats) and we had a great time. I'll always think fond thoughts of him and remember him and his family in our prayers. God Bless!

    to the family of allen, we are so saddened to hear of his passing. He was a great guy, landscaper, and hard worker... We will miss him very much. Heartbreaking loss too early.

    We were fortunate enough to meet Allen many years ago when we purchased our home on Henkel Circle and Allen was living in the carriage house. Allen was an amazing man. He worked hard and with great pride and integrity. He truly loved his work. He would often bring a surprise plant or two home to add to the yard. He helped us immensely with our landscaping. Allen talked constantly about Ava and Brooklyn. They meant so much to him, and he really enjoyed spending time with them whenever he could. In all those years we never had the opportunity to meet Allen’s family, but I could tell by the stories how much they meant to him. Even once we left Henkel we would talk from time to time. We will miss him greatly. It was such a shock to hear the news, but we know he lived his life well. We send our sympathy to Allen’s family.

    I was saddened to hear of the death of an old and dear friend, as Allen and I went to grade school together and his family lived by mine in Winter Park and I had known him and his family for many, many years.     I have worked with Allen through Epoch Residential for many years, as he did our landscaping here. Every year, he & his brother would pick up a big, beautiful Christmas tree for our lobby and deliver it to us, always with a smile! We will all miss that, and we are so sorry for your loss.
