    Charlotte,
I am sorry to hear of your husband's passing. Just from the notes left here he was a very special guy. Enjoy your memories with him and your children and grandchildren. They will bring you warmth and many smiles over the years. Take care Charlotte - will keep you in my prayers.

I had the privilege of being mentored by Al, and what he taught me was more than what I needed to succeed at work but as a person. He was gentle but fought fiercely for what he believed. He was witty and compassionate. He truly cared about people around him and sacrificed selflessly to better our lives. I will never forget him asking me if I have my eyes fixed on what's important and be reassured with his loving smile. I will miss him and be forever grateful for the impact he had on me.

Al was such a fun , full of life person, it was a joy just to be around him. He loved to laugh and did it often, but loved nothing more than spending every minute with his beloved Charlotte. It was a love story for the ages and was a joy to witness. I will miss his smile and wicked sense of humor, the world is a sadder place without him xo

Christmas 2024. The kids wanted to know what Pappy AL likes before we went shopping for a present. They all came to the same conclusion that he loves fishing.....so they were on a mission to find the perfect Christmas present.

I am so very sorry to hear of Al's passing. Al was my manager at Fifth Third Bank for many years and his impact on me and our team is still felt today. All of us enjoyed observing Al in action; he had the ability to successfully navigate any situation, often with humor and wit. I learned a great deal from him and continue to utilize those tools, both professionally and personally. Al was a good human and my prayers are with his family.

Al made a big difference in my life! He hired me at Fifth Third Bank, which allowed me to move to North Carolina with my family. Al was a great boss and good friend to me. His intelligence and compassion shined through every interaction with him. Al was generous with his knowledge and always provided a balanced approach to solving problems. He never really knew what a positive difference he made in my family's life. I will always be grateful. Thank you, Al! God bless.
