Allen Nathan Saper, 64 of Kissimmee died Tuesday, January 8, 2013. Allen was born June 16, 1948 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Hilda and Hyman Saper. After graduating high school Allen joined the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War. He served as a Military Police Officer. He returned home and continued his service to his country by becoming a New York City Police Officer. After Allen retired from law enforcement he worked for various car service companies as a limousine driver and dispatcher for many years. Allen moved to Florida in 2005 to be near his children. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards and was a devoted fan to the New York Yankees and New York Jets. He was also an avid movie lover and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Allen is survived by his loving children Daniel Saper and Lauren Harwell both of Kissimmee and his adored grandchildren, Quentin Rodriguez and Reese Harwell. A life celebration will be held 1PM, Saturday, January 19th at the Winter Park Chapel, 301 W. New England, Winter Park. A reception will immediately follow the service at the Harwell residence.
