Obituary
Alvera J. Grennier passed away at the age of 85 on Sunday, November 8th while at home in the arms of her beloved husband Curtis Grennier of 66 years. She was born October 6, 1935 in Rothsay, Minnesota and grew up in Michigan. She married Curtis her high school sweetheart on February 20, 1954 and together they raised 4 daughters and a son.
She is survived by her husband Curtis F. Grennier, daughters Shelley Cetlinski and Jim of Stonecrest, Susan Pichini and Mike of Stonecrest, Rhonda Davis and Frank of Goodrich, Michigan, Polly Clements and Bruce of Jacksonville Fl and son Curt Grennier and Karen of Gardiner, Maine, her brother Alan Larson and Katy of Shepard Michigan and a Sister Jerrilee Larson-Gerou of Afton, Michigan.
Alvera had 13 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
In 1994 they moved to Florida and settled in Stonecrest. Alvera loved playing golf and started the first Ladies Golf League in Stonecrest in 1995. She started a ladies bridge group later that year and was very active in a variety of clubs and activities. She loved to dance and travel and enjoyed spending time with her friends.
She will be remembered lovingly as a devoted wife and mother.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Monday December 7, 2020 at St Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church – 7081 SE Hwy 42, Summerfield.
