Alvin Ray Spears, 77, New Smyrna Beach FL died Saturday, May 11, 2013. He was born in Logan, WV and came to this area in 2003 from Cochranville, PA. He was a retired plant manager for Kaiser Aluminum. He enjoyed hunting, playing cards and visiting the race track. He was a member of New Smyrna Beach Bass Club.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Billie Jo, daughters Jennifer Leigh Skrabak of Cochranvile,PA, Leslie Jo Long of New Smyrna Beach, grandchildren Elizabeth (Skrabak) Richner and husband Douglas, Rebecca (Skrabak) Blevins and husband C. Benjamin, Rachel Leah Skrabak, John Paul Skrabak, Leah (Skrabak) Hawkins and husband Gregory, Andrew Joseph Skrabak, Jacqueline Leigh Long, John Benjamin Long, Anna Catherine Viscardi, and great grandchildren Caleb Blevins, Samuel (Sammy Jack) Blevins,
Gracie Belvins, James Hawkins and Hope Hawkins.
Memorial service will be held at a later date at Highland Memorial Gardens in Chapmanville, WV.
Life Celebration will be 11:00 AM Monday, May 13 at Baldwin Brothers Heritage Place 1 North Causeway New Smyrna Beach.
