Celebration of Life for Ambers Crum, New Smyrna Beach FL who died Wednesday, July 1, 2009 will be 12:00 PM Monday, July 6 at Baldwin Brothers Funeral Chapel North Causeway. The family will receive friends on Monday from 11:00 AM until service time. Committal will follow at Sea Pines Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.
Ambers was born in Akron, Ohio. He served in the United States Army during W W II in Italy. He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company as a Banburry Operator after 33 years of service. He was a Life Mamber of Veterans of Foreign Wars Port Orange Post, American Legion Post 17 New Smyrna Beach. He enjoyed gardening and playing poker and Black Jack.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 62 years Ada, daughters Evelyn Mocilnikar of New Smyrna Beach, Barbara DeMeio of Uniontown, OH, brothers Jeptha Crum of Uniontown, OH, Clayton Crum of Inez, KY, sister Rosemary Blackburn of Debord, KY, grandchildren William Mocilnikar of Orange City, Debbie Starr and Terri Price both of Daytona Beach, Tami Bennett of New Smyrna Beach, Dawn Moon of Akron, five great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
