Obituary
Andrew ( AJ ) Drayton died in his home on June 14, 2024 in Fort Myers FL; after suffering over 14 years from an accident in which he was nearly decapitated. He was 25.
Andrew was born on June 18, 1998 in Boston, MA to his parents, Joseph and Mary Drayton. He attended Haverhill High School where his favorite course was ROTC and favorite trip was Costa Rica. Recently Andrew moved to Fort Myers FL with his Mom where he worked part time for UPS and Fed-X before earning his state license as a security officer.
Andrew’s favorite pastimes were spending time at the beaches with his Family and Friends, growing plants, art, music, his reptiles and gaming with his brothers and friends in heated competitions.
Andrew is well loved and known for being a good friend, big bear hugs, amazing sense of humor, creativity, love of animals, his amazing singing voice and loving his Family.
Andrew is preceded in death by his Dad Joseph Drayton of Haverhill MA and is survived by his Mom Mary Drayton of Fort Myers FL; his sister Theresa Harris of Haverhill, brother James Drayton of Haverhill, brother Joseph S. Drayton of New Sweden ME (wife Melissa, son Isaiah), brother William Drayton of Madawaska ME, sister Cecelia Drayton of Hartford CT, brother Benjamin Drayton of Lexington NC, sister Aundra Drayton of Sinclair ME (fiancee Dana, daughter Alana), Uncle Gary Ewell (wife Raquel, son James, daughter Alyssa),Uncle Cedric Height of Baltimore MD, godmother Denise Stewart of Baltimore MD, brothers from another mother Tyler David and Eddie Rowe, “Little Brothers” Julieus and Brent, “Big Sister” Linda Porcelli and “Auntie” Laura Castine, “Big Brother” Doug Johnston as well as a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, friends and well wishes.
