Andy is My grandfather through my Dads side. I gave him the nickname of Bompie when I was little. There are so many things I can say about this wonderful man but those that knew him, know exactly how amazing he was. I miss him dearly. I was able to hold his hand one last time before he left this world. Today I am trying to find comfort knowing Bomb, Bompie and my Dad are finally together. I love you all and will always be missing a piece of my world.

We are very sorry that Andy has left us. He is now with his lovely wife Rita. We were able to visit both a few years ago and had a wonderful, fun time. They were warm, loving people and we are glad to have met them.
Heartfelt condolences to the family of cousins Marianne and Miro from Germany

Andy was my cousin and first son of my Uncle Andy and Aunt Betty in Toledo, Ohio. He was always known as "Sonny," for that's what his parents called him, as he was their first-born son. He was already a teenager when I was born, but I always called him Sonny, also, as I grew older. He came over to my parents' house a lot to visit, and he liked being around all my older brothers and sisters. I remember him as being a handsome guy and when he was in the Army. My husband, John, and daughter, Kristen, and I visited Andy and Rita at their Pt Charlotte home, when we were on vacation one year. I also flew down to visit them another year, and the next day our cousins, Miroslav and Marianne Krajicek, flew in from Germany, and the three of us spent several days with Andy and Rita. I will never forget their warm hospitality and drinking beer and Margaritas at their pool. I occasionally would call them to keep in touch. I called Andy several times after the last hurricane was in Pt Charlotte. I will miss talking to him. He is now with Rita, and their little dog, Buddy in heaven. I will still remember all of them in my prayers and will always remember those "Good Old Days" we had together. My deepest sympathy to Shelley and Rick.

Andy was married to my mother for 48 years and was my stepdad for 50 years. During this time, I grew to love him beyond a point that I ever thought possible. He and my father and Uncle Jules were high school and lifelong pals. Unfortunately, my dad passed when I was 12 years old, so their friendship ended. Andy was always very protective of me. Sometimes, he was the mediator between my mom and me. Poor guy!

After my mom passed, Andy remained a part of the family. We spent 10 days in my home without power, electricity, and water during Hurricane Ian. We made the best of a terrible situation. After Ian, Andy stayed with me for another month while we got his house livable. Two months after returning home, we became even closer, since he was no longer able to cook or clean. Every morning I cooked him breakfast and made his meals for the rest of the day. Andy was always appreciative of me and called me a "good kid".
