Snooky is survived by her husband, Arthur Brenan, of Ocala, Fl; her brother Joe Stefanile Jr. (Peggy Stefanile) of Washington, and sister in law Carol Hurley (Fred Hurley) of Maine; her two daughters, Debbie Clark Sarrow (Steve Sarrow) and Dawn Brenan (William Houston) of Ocala, Fl.; five grandchildren, Corey Schulstead, Steven Schulstead, Brittany Houston and Kelli Reyna all of Ocala, Fl and Cherie Clark Wagner of Ohio; eight great-grandchildren, Destyni Edwards, Vanessa Reyna, Natalie Reyna, Christina Reyna, Jiovanni Jimenez, all of Ocala, Fl and Janie Wagner, Nolan Wagner and Jillian Wagner of Ohio; two Great-great-grandchildren, Ian and Lucas Gomez of Summerfield, Fl and lastly, her beloved dog Bambi.
Snooky was born on March 16, 1942 in Neptune, NJ to her parents Joseph and Marion Stefanile. She attended Mount Carmel, St. Rose and later Asbury Park H.S., graduating in 1960. She married the love of her life, Arthur Brenan and had two daughters, Debbie and Dawn. In 1968 they moved to Florida, eventually settling in Lake Worth where they raised their family. In 1983 they moved to Ocala, Fl and the rest of the family followed. She worked for the Marion County Health Department for many years, where she retired from in 2004.
Snooky was very close with all of her friends and family. Most weekends while they were growing up she had a houseful of grandkids. She enjoyed life more than most and was always fascinated by the simplest things. Her family and friends will always remember her laughter. She always had a way of making a joke out of everything and had everyone around her laughing at all times.
The family has decided not to hold a service at this time, but will schedule a time to celebrate her life at a later date when it is safe for everyone to come together. We request that flowers not be sent, but if you would like to make donations in her name, please send to a charity of your choice.
