Obituary
Anita Kelly Lombardi, age 68, formerly of Mt. Dora passed away Tuesday, June 1st surrounded by family. Kelly was born in Cocoa Beach, Florida and attended Cocoa Beach High School before the family moved to Ocala, Florida.
Kelly graduated from Vanguard High School in 1971. She had a love for golf and started lessons at a young age and played on the Vanguard High School golf team. Kelly went on to play some amateur golf and won an Amateur Golf Championship in Dunnellon, Florida. She also had a love for softball/baseball taking after her father who was an Umpire. Kelly went on to play in adult softball leagues as well as enjoying racquetball in her down time.
Kelly made her home in Mt. Dora where she quickly made friends and enjoyed participating at the events held by the community center. Besides spending time with her family and friends, Kelly enjoyed animals, crossword puzzles, listening to Jimmy Buffet, visiting the beach, and watching the Little League World Series.
Kelly was known for her sense of humor, contagious laugh and had a way of making everyone she knew feel important and special. She loved her family and friends and would want us all to continue creating memories, love each other and most importantly find humor along the way.
Preceded in death by her parents Emil A Lombardi and Patricia Ann Fenner. She is survived by her siblings: Emil Lombardi (Des)Vincent Lombardi, Richard Lombardi (Lindy)Blair Lipps (David) and Michael Lombardi (Sheila) As well as multiple nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, June 26, 2021 from 11 AM to 12 PM at Baldwin Brothers Tavares Chapel, 1350 E. Burleigh Blvd., Tavares, FL 32778.
