Obituary

Anne Marie Dunham, age100, died peacefully on June 4, 2018 at her home in Holly Hill, Florida. Anne was born in Springfield, Massachusetts on July 19, 1917. Her parents were John Peeso and Mary Jepson.
After graduating from high school, she married Clifford Savaria and had two daughters. They moved to Daytona Beach, Florida in 1953. Anne was employed by GC Murphy’s in the Bellair shopping center for many years . She met and married Franklin Dunham in 1980 and they enjoyed eleven wonderful years together before he passed .
Anne enjoyed playing piano from an early age and continued to play throughout her years. She also loved to square dance and was a longtime member of the Granada Squares dance club. She performed several times in Disney World with the club.
Anne was best known for her kind, compassionate and loving spirit. Her granddaughter said it best upon her passing…”In the end, her heart was too weak to continue because she had used it so much over the years to give all of us her love.”  She left a legacy of love and lived to serve others.  She encouraged her friends and family to love God, be kind, be resilient, laugh often and look for the good in everyone.
She was a longtime member of the Riverview United Methodist Church in Ormond Beach,  Florida and was very active in her church. She lived her life with a strong faith and abiding love for Jesus.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Arthur, her brother Edward, her daughter Nancy Ivey Harris and her husband Franklin Dunham, III.
Anne is survived by her daughter Carolyn Savaria Serviss, son-in-law Robert, stepdaughter Margaret Levitan, six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and three nephews.
A celebration of Anne’s life will be held on June 27,  2018 at 11 a.m. at the Riverside United Methodist Church, 2253 John Anderson Dr., Ormond Beach, Florida. Her pastor, Joseph Kim Haksop will officiate.  Memorials may be made in Anne’s name to Riverview United Methodist Church.
