Anthony Altobelli, 73
Captain Anthony Altobelli (Ret. USAF) “Tony,” of Orlando, Fl, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2015. Born in Yonkers, NY, Tony spent most of his life in Orlando, Fl after retiring from his role of International Media Relations Director for the Walt Disney Company.
Tony was a vivacious and loving man who enjoyed travel, his work, and family. He is survived by his wife Vikki and her children, Zack Crutchfield and Abbe (Michael) Malone, and grandchildren Gabriel and MacKenzie, his daughter, Diane (Keith) McClary and grandchildren, Brandon, Lisa and Brooke McClary. Tony is also survived by his sister, Anna Altero and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Tony was predeceased by his son, Anthony, sister Irma and brother Idelo. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and uncle to all.
Tony was incredibly bright and charming. He spoke 4 languages and was a gentle romantic at heart. He was unconditional in his love for others and was embraced all over the world for his kindness and true zest for life.
Funeral services for Tony will be held at the Church of Resurrection in Winter Garden at 2 p.m. on June 27, 2015. A celebration of life will follow the service at the home of Gene and Lisa Goodmaster to commemorate a man who sprinkled love on so many lives with his own special fairy dust. The family asks in lieu of flowers, to make a donation to the alzheimer’s foundation in honor of Tony’s memory.
