Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Antonio “Tony” Castillo, who left us on December 15, 2024, at the age of 66. Born on March 10, 1958, in Havana, Cuba, Tony immigrated to the United States with his parents and brothers in December 1960, ultimately settling in Miami, FL. A graduate of Miami Senior High School, Class of 1977, Tony was an active member of the school band and cherished the memories of his youth. Tony lived in Miami until relocating to Orlando, FL in 1998.
Tony was a natural salesman, known for his charisma, charm, and infectious sense of humor. His ability to connect with people was unmatched, and he dedicated much of his life to building relationships through his work, most notably earning the prestigious million-dollar ring award from Westgate Resorts in 2005. He was also a proud member of the Universal CityWalk Orlando inaugural team in 1999.
Outside of work, he was a true movie buff and collector, and a dedicated fan of the Miami Dolphins. His optimism and love of life were evident in every aspect of his personality. He approached the world with humor and an unshakable belief that opportunities were waiting around every corner.
He was preceded in death by his father, Albio Castillo, and mother, Josephina Castillo, both of Bejucal, Cuba, as well as his older brother, Albio Castillo. He is survived by his twin brother, Abel Castillo, and his children: Antonio Castillo Jr., Alex Castillo, and Roxana Castillo.
Tony’s memory will live on through the countless lives he touched. He will be remembered for his constant optimism, his infectious laughter, and his ability to bring people together with his magnetic personality.
May he rest in peace.
May you go on piece Tony ❤️
