April Lynn Fissell Henry, 48, of Port Orange, FL., passed away on Friday, June 12, 2020.
April was born in Elizabeth, NJ on March 12, 1972, daughter of Frances and David Lee Fissell.
Upon moving to Daytona Beach thirteen years ago, April became a popular Bartender, known for her bright smile and always with a kind word. She worked hard and laughed often. Marks Sports Pub and Boot Hill Saloon were her favorite places to work. Well loved by anyone she met. That includes the love of her life Douglas Henry. They married on the Worlds Most Famous Beach, on a gorgeous sunny October day in 2010. Together, they loved to ride the open road, and adored their many dogs. She was always surrounded by family and many friends. April especially loved traveling with her best girlfriend for over twenty years, Norina Burt.
April is preceded in death by her dear mother, Frances (nee, Conklin), her father David Lee Fissell, and her cherished grandmother, Cathleen Conklin.
April is survived by her beloved husband and best friend Douglas Henry, Port Orange, FL. Her beautiful daughter Dakota Brooks, Trenton, NJ. Three loving sisters, Dawn Granholm-Vettori Fissell, (John) Ormond Beach, FL, Donna Fissell McGonegal (Walter), Islen, NJ, and Sandy Fissell Meray (Geno), Old Bridge, NJ. As well as 4 treasured nieces.
She will be sorely missed by her many faithful dogs, Dixie, Timmy, Abigail, Duke and Louie.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Boot Hill Saloon, 108 US Highway 1, Ormond Beach, FL 32174 on July 11, 2020 at 1:00 pm.

All whom loved her dearly will never forget her smile, and she will be in our hearts forever.
