Obituary
Argyro Lula Clizer, 80, of Ormond Beach, FL, passed away on August 11, 2020 after bravely battling cancer. She was born on September 14, 1939 in Volos, Greece to her loving parents Alexandra and Vasilis Balafas.
Lula was known for her warm smile and love for people. She moved to America in the late 60s and married Dr. Edwin Clizer. Together they raised their daughters, Helen and Fenia. Lula loved to cook and entertain friends with her Greek culture.
Lula had a zeal for God and ministry work and was a member of the local Christian congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Her faith in Jehovah Gods hope for mankind helped her immensely in her final days.
Lula is survived by her daughters, Helen Neumann and Fenia Neumann, and her grandchildren, Ryan Lindberg, Quinn Hiaasen, Greyson Neumann, Eden Neumann, and Hannah Neumann. While she did not have a son, she often affectionately called Helen Neumann’s husband, Richard Neumann, her son. She is also survived by her brothers, George and Nick Balafasand, her sister, Anna Bejelis, and many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are under care of Baldwin Brothers, Ormond Beach, FL. Services are private at this time.
May you find comfort in Jehovah’s promises that will soon be fulfilled.
With warm love,
David and Josie Birth and family
