Obituary
In Loving Memory of
Arlene Diane Wiley
August 6, 1942 – January 26, 2021
Loving wife for 55 years to Boyd, and wonderful mother to her five children – Karla, Michael, David, Rhonda, and Matthew. She was a proud grandma to 10 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Arlene retired from S & C Electric Company after 17 1/2 years in Chicago as a machinist operator and moved to sunny Lee High Acres where she soon made many new friends. Arlene was unselfish, giving and had a light within that always shone brightly. Arlene’s quick, genuine smile would light up any room and her outgoing personality instantly attracted people to her. She enjoyed taking cruises to visit new places, reading books, and going to church. A fond memory of hers was when she went to an Elvis concert and so in her final moments, she listened to many of his songs which included his choir version of Amazing Grace. Arlene was a private person who chose not to have a funeral. Her beautiful spirit will be missed by all. Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. John 11:25-26. May the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God, rest in peace – Amen.
You are my angel in heaven. My heart broke when you passed, but now I know you are with family and friends and no longer in discomfort. I love and miss you, Rhonda
