Obituary
EDGEWATER – Arline M. (Lefebvre) Dobosz, 77, of Edgewater Landing passed peacefully on Sunday, April 8, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Her journey to the angels was comforted by the compassionate and caring staff of doctors and nurses at the Florida Hospital of New Smyrna. She was born in Chicopee Falls, MA on January 24, 1941, adored daughter of the late Joseph and Lena (Bergeron) Lefebvre. Arline was raised in the Aldenville section of Chicopee and graduated from Cathedral High School of Springfield, MA. She was employed by the Hartford Insurance Group of Hartford, CT for 14 years and a resident of Enfield, CT for 28 years before retiring to Edgewater, FL in 2005. Arline was an eight year volunteer for Edgewater Citizens Assisting Police (CAPs), Vice President of Edgewater Police Volunteer Association and Edgewater CAPs Wanderer’s Program administrator. You could also find her reading a book, completing crosswords, enjoying the beach, relaxing at Pizza Hut or assisting her husband teaching self-defense classes to seniors.
She leaves the love of her life, her beloved husband of 58 years, Arthur G. Dobosz. She was pre deceased by her son, Michael Dobosz and leaves three children, Greg Dobosz of Davenport, IA, Kathleen Dobosz and fiancé Chad Luce of Port Orange, FL and John Dobosz of Enfield, CT; her three cherished grandchildren, Michael Benoit of Somers, CT, Matthew Benoit of Somers, CT and Julia Dobosz of Ellington, CT.
Please join us for a celebration of life on Tuesday, April 10th from 12-3pm in the game room of the Edgewater Landing Club House, Homeport Terrace, Edgewater, FL.
We are so very sorry to hear about the loss of Auntie Arline. We will truly miss her so much. All my memories include all of you. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
